First blood draw... DONE!
Well I have survived my first blood draw. As I type this 2 tubes of my blood are sitting in the freezer in the faculty lounge. Now that will be a nice surprise for someone when they go to grab their Lean Cuisine! I like to try to wait until right before they do the Fed Ex pick up before I take it over so that it stays frozen as long as possible. I am going to try to set up a counter on the side bar that will keep track of how many needles I have been poked with. It won't be very many until about mid-April... then it will start adding up! My next blood draw isn't until April 13.

One down, lots more to go. I love the idea of a count of draws...all stepping stones on your way to a beautiful child in your arms.
I'm so excited for you, though. Only a month and a half left! I bet you can hardly wait!
Listened to Gary Allen on my way to work today, and thought of you - actually. Well, first I fantasized about, me & him...wait nevermind. I thought about you!
Hey Candice, this is your favorite cousin, Jess. I am sure glad you enjoyed the fruits of my labors. The company that I work for did the electrical work on that Hotel. I was in charge of all of the main power for the tower and I did the restaurant on the 16th floor. I have been working on finishing up the pool area for that past few months. I am glad that you enjoyed it but at the same time I am upset that you didn't call while you were in town. Hope all is well. We love ya. Jess
What to say...happy poking? I am excited for you and all your blood draws!
