Cooper 4 Months!!
This little boy has been such a blessing!! He is such a cute boy and has such a fun personality. He has the most adorable smile and laugh and everyone just adores him. Super Cooper has definitely stolen a lot of hearts in his 4 months with us!! We just love the little bear!
He can roll from his back to his tummy like a pro. He's rolled back before but cannot figure out yet how to do it on a regular basis so when he's sick of his tummy he just yells for momma to roll him back over!
This little boy does not stop moving!! He is constantly wiggling and squirming! We are afraid it's a sign of things to come and that he will be crawling before we know it and we won't be able to keep up with him!! He's already pulling his legs up underneath him so it really could be sooner than we hope!
He is eating his rice cereal every day now and does so like a pro. He didn't even hesitate when we gave him his first spoon full and has been eating like a champ ever since. We just hope it means he'll get some more meat on his bones. He is such a skinny little man!!
At his 4 month appointment he weighed only 13 pounds 7 ounces but was 25 and a half inches long! He is in the 30th percentile for weight but 70th for height. It looks like we have another tall skinny boy!! He is finally fitting in some of his 3-6 month clothes and is still trying to fill out his size 2 diapers.
He loves to give you a big smile and then snuggle into your shoulder. He will also growl like a little bear cub and chew on your shoulder when he's happy. He chews on his hands, our hands, and pretty much anything else he can get in his mouth and is drooling all over everything! His new favorite thing to find his mouth are his cute little feet!
It's a good thing this little man is so dang cute because he's not letting his mom get any sleep. He did so well for a couple of months, only waking up once or twice a night but lately it's been up to 7 or 8 times some nights. Mom is very tired!
He caught his first cold and has been fighting it for over a month. Everyone is ready for him to stop sniffling but he doesn't miss a beat!
Right before his 2 month appointment we noticed that his head seemed to be a little misshapen so I had the doctor look at it when we went in. He ordered an Xray and although everything looked fine, he suggested we have a craniofacial specialist look at it. His appointment with the specialist is this week so we just pray that he is fine and he only has a funny shaped noggin!!
Cooper adores his big brother! He is always watching Sawyer and smiling and laughing at him. Sawyer is warming up to him too and it seems the attempts to throw things at little brother's head have stopped! Well for now at least!
I quit my job and January 7th was my last day. Since then I have been enjoying every second with my boys and trying to take a full load of classes this semester! I am so very blessed! We will have to sacrifice but we will be okay and I will have so many good memories with my boys. I can't wait to see what the future brings for our little family!!
